Responding units have one victim on the scene shot multiple times; witnesses are telling responding units that there are already two victims en route to the hospital.

seems to be a 34S X 4. Nola.com reporting 4 wounded. Original responding unit said he had two on scene with two going to the hospital on their own, but the victim count at the scene was never confirmed on dispatch.

NOPD may have suspect surrounded near N. Villere and Alvar. Perimeter set, apprehension K9 requested. Officers seem to know where the gun may have been tossed. K9 now in route.

Note - dispatcher still calling it a 34s, and not a 30. This is good news, as no one has died.
