Officers responded to the 2500 block of Conti Street at approximately 9am under NOPD,Item K-07137-10:The victim was walking in the 2500 block of Conti when he was approached from behind by an unknown black male subject, who demanded money. When he told the subject he had no money, he was attack. The victim bit his attackers hand and escaped. Nothing was taken from the victim. Despite significant bruising to his head the victim refused medical treatment.This incident is under investigation.
