Armed Robbery 7-4-10

On Sunday, July 4, 2010 at about 11:52pm, the victims were walking to
their car in the 1700 block of Marigny St. At about this time they
were approached by the wanted subject. The wanted subject was armed
with a chrome semi-automatic handgun. The subject stated “give me
your money, empty your pockets.” The victims complied with the wanted
subject demands. After taking the victims belongings, the wanted
subject ordered the victims to the ground. The wanted subject entered
the passenger side of a waiting vehicle. The vehicle backed up Marigny
St. to N. Roman then unknown.

Wanted:

#1 Unknown b/m ,medium complexion, 5’11”, heavy build, short afro
hairstyle, clean shaven wearing a white t-shirt.

#2 Unknown

Armed Robbery 7-5-10

On Monday, July 5, 2010 at about 1:30pm, the victim stated she left
Richard’s Food store and walked to her vehicle in the 2300 block of
Allen St. The victim entered her vehicle and the #1 wanted subject
entered the passenger side of her vehicle. At the same time the #2
wanted subject entered her vehicle. The #1 subject placed an object
to her face and stated, “Give me your money from your right pocket.”
The victim complied and gave the subject her money. The subject then
demanded the victim’s jewelry. The victim complied. The subjects
exited the vehicle and fled the scene.

Wanted:

#1 Unknown b/m black shirt, black bandana with small prints covering
his face, dark brown complexion, short twist hairstyle

#2 Unknown

Aggravated Battery (Cutting) Arrested Subjects 7-6-10

On July 6, 2010 at about 3:36pm, the victim and one of the arrested
subjects were involved in a verbal altercation, at which time a fight
ensued. During the fight the victim was cut to the forearm with a box
cutter. One arrested then subject struck the other arrested subject
with a bat.

Aggravated Assault 7-1-10

On Thursday, July 1, 2010 at about 8:54pm, the wanted subject pulled
into the drive thru at the victim’s place of employment in the 2300
block of St. Claude. The wanted subject began to demand food for
which he did not order. The victim instructed the wanted subject to
remove his vehicle from the business or she would notify the police.
The wanted subject exited his vehicle and pointed a handgun at the
victim. The victim retreated to the rear of the store and notified
police. The wanted subject fled the scene.

Pauline St., the victim and arrested subject were involved in a verbal
argument. The argument escalated and the arrested subject struck the
victim on the head with an object.

Aggravated Battery (Shooting) 6-27-10

On Saturday, June 27, 2010, at about 4:20pm, Fifth District Detectives
responded to a shooting at the intersection of George Nick Conner and
N. Rocheblave. Upon arrival officers observed the victim suffering
from multiple gunshots wound to the body. The victim stated he was
walking in the area when the wanted subject exited an alley and began
shooting at him. The victim gave no further information.

call of a shooting at N. Prieur and St. Roch St. Upon arrival they
observed the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was
transported to the hospital for treatment. No further information
available.

said someone approached him from the rear and shot him.

Aggravated Burglary 6-22-10

On Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at about 7:00pm, the victim stated she was
in her residence in the 2800 block of A. P. Tureaud Ave. The victim
stated the two wanted subjects entered her residence poising as water
maintenance workers. The victim said the first subject clad in a tan
button down shirt asked to come into her residence to check the water.
The subject checked the water at a sink in the laundry room and then
asked to check the water in the kitchen. The victim said she advised
the subject that her water was fine and that he needed to leave. The
second subject; a heavy set white male entered the residence and
stated: “I’m so sorry that your water is not working”. The subject
proceeded to grab the victim’s left hand and aggressively pulled her
wedding rings from her hand and fled the residence in an unknown
direction.

Wanted:

Unknown w/m late 30s to 4o years of age, wearing a short sleeve tan
button down shirt, dark colored pants

Unknown w/m, heavy build, 30s to 40 years of age, clad in white polo
shirt

Aggravated Battery (Shooting) 6-22-10

On Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at about 8:34pm the victim said he was
walking westbound on Galvez Street. He approached the intersection of
Desire when he asked the wanted subject for a cigarette. The male
stated to the victim come over her (referring to an alley in the 2000
block of Desire Street). The victim met with the subject in the alley.
While in the alley the subject removed an unknown handgun from his
person and fired one shot striking the victim.

Wanted:

Unknown b/m 5’7”, 125 lbs, wearing a blue fitted hat, white t-shirt,
blue jeans shorts, the subject was riding a bicycle.

Aggravated Battery 6-21-10

On Monday, June 21, 2010 at 3:15 a.m., the victim was stated that she
was visiting her boyfriend in the 3100 block of Maurice Duncan
Street. The victim’s boyfriend allowed his other girlfriend (arrested
subject) inside the residence. The arrested subject went into the
bedroom and became enraged when she observed the victim in her
boyfriend’s bed. The arrested subject grabbed a hammer from off the
dresser and began striking the victim in the head and shoulder with
the hammer. The victim fled out the front door and relocated to her
residence where the police were contacted.

Aggravated Assault 6-20-10

On Sunday, June 20, 2010 at about 11:00pm the victim, stated he was
outside his residence when he observed the wanted subject standing
next to his neighbor’s vehicle. The victim stated the suspect walked
away from the vehicle and he entered his vehicle in order to follow
the suspect in his vehicle. The victim was traveling on N. Derbigny
St. when he reached the intersection of N.Derbigny St. and Pauline
St. The victim stated he observed the wanted subject standing in the
middle of the block on the sidewalk. The victim said he observed the
suspect shooting at him striking the right rear panel of his vehicle.
The victim fled to Elysian Fields Avenue and North Claiborne Avenue
then to Franklin Avenue and North Claiborne St.

Unknown b/m 5’8” to 6’

Armed Robbery (Carjacking) 6-19-2010

On Saturday, June 19, 2010 at about 11:00pm, the victim was sitting in
his vehicle in the 2100 block of Sere St. At about this time the
wanted subject approached and asked for a light. The victim told the
wanted subject to wait while he pressed the button for the car
lighter. The wanted subject then retrieved a chrome revolver from his
waistband. The wanted subject pointed the handgun at the victim and
stated “get out of the car, hurry up before I pop you.” The victim
exited the vehicle and the wanted subject entered the vehicle and fled
westbound on Sere to Frenchmen then unknown.

Wanted:

Unknown b/m 19 to 24 years of age, 5’6”, 130 lbs, dark complexion,
short haircut, clean shaven, thin build, black pants, black shirt with
red designs on the front, black baseball cap.

Armed Robbery 6-16-10

On Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at about 9:05am, the victim was at the
intersection of Forstall and Marais Streets. The victim said he was
collecting discarded aluminum cans and was approached by the wanted
subjects. The #1 subject was holding a small dark colored semi-
automatic handgun. He stated to the victim “Give it up ……” The
victim said he told the subjects if he had money he would not be
collecting cans. During this time the second subject stated “Let him
go, he only got cans”. The First subject then told the victim “Get the
……….old man!!” The victim complied and rode away on his bicycle. He
observed the subjects fleeing east on Marais Street then unknown.

Wanted:

#1 Unknown b/m, 5’2”, 145 lbs, Cad in a brown shirt, blue jean pants,
dark brown complexion, clean shaven, and dreadlocks that fell to his
shoulders. He appeared to be in his early 20’s. He was in possession
of small caliber dark colored semi-automatic handgun.

#2 Unknown b/m , 5’4”, Cad in a brown or grey shirt, dark pants, dark
brown complexion, clean shaven, and medium length afro. . He appeared
to be in his early 20’s.

Aggravated Battery (Shooting) 6-13-10

On Sunday, June 13, 2010 Fifth District Detective met with the sister
of the victim of an aggravated Battery which occurred in the 1600
block of Marigny St. The sister stated at about 3:02am on the same
date she was in a vehicle along with the victim’s girlfriend. They
pulled alongside of the victim’s vehicle and asked was he going to
follow them to the French Quarters. The victim was inside of his
vehicle and he replied “yes”. The females drove off at which time they
heard several gunshots. They called the victim’s cell phone and did
not receive an answer. They relocated back to the 1600 block of
Marigny and discovered the victim had been shot.

Armed Robbery 6-11-10

On Friday June 11, 2010 at about 9:54pm, the victim stated at this
time he was walking on N. Miro St. towards Painters St. Upon reaching
the intersection of N. Miro and Painters, the wanted subject
approached and asked the victim for a lighter. The victim replied he
did not have a lighter, and at this time the wanted subject removed a
handgun from his waist band and stated “give me everything.” The
victim put his bag on the ground. The victim then attempted to
wrestle the weapon from the wanted subject’s hand. The victim bit the
wanted subject on the arm. The wanted subject bit the victim on the
back. The struggle ended and the victim began to flee. While fleeing
the victim heard a gunshot, the victim then looked back and observed
the wanted subject entering a red vehicle, possible a Grand Am.

Wanted:

Unknown b/m 5’8”, 120 to 130 lbs, dark skin short twist hairstyle,
black button down shirt, black shorts, 20 years of age, with a bite
mark to the arm.

Armed Robbery 6-10-10

On Thursday, June 10, 2010 at about 9:06pm, the victim was walking
east bound on Burgundy St. Upon reaching the 2500 block of Burgundy
St., he observed the wanted subject walking in his direction. Upon
meeting the wanted subject, he (wanted subject) produced a handgun and
demanded the victim’s money. The wanted subject took the victim’s
property and left the scene, walking west on Burgundy towards St.
Roch.

Unknown b/m 5’10”, 160 lbs, 18 to 19 years of age, clean shaven black
t-shirt, black pants, dark brown complexion, twist hairstyle short in
length, armed with a semi-automatic handgun

residence and was walking to a store. Upon reaching the intersection
of Clouet and N. Roman St., the wanted subjects approached him and ask
for a cigarette. At this point the #1 subject produced a black
automatic weapon and demanded the victim’s money. The victim told the
wanted subject he had no money. The wanted subject then searched the
victim’s pockets and took his belongings and fled the scene.

#1 Unknown b/m 5’10”, light skin, 16 to 20 years of age, small twist
in hair, wearing a white t-shirt, brown pants

#2 Unknown b/m dark skin, 16 to 20 years of age

Armed Robbery 6-09-10

On Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at about 1:30pm the victim stated he was in
the 4000 block of Louisa St. At about this time the #1 wanted subject
stepped up to his truck and struck the driver’s side window with a
handgun. The window shattered and the subject pointed the weapon at
the victim and demanded his money. The #1 wanted subject told the
victim he observed him leaving the scrap yard. The #2 wanted subject
also demanded the victim’s money. The victim told the wanted subjects
he only had receipts. The wanted subjects then fled the scene.

Wanted:

#1 Unknown b/m 30 to 35 years of age, brown complexion, and low hair
cut, brown shirt, blue jeans, armed with a handgun.

Aggravated Assault

On Monday, June 7, 2010, at about 7:00am,the victim stated he was
visiting a relative in the 2600 block of Annette St. At about this
time his sister told him the arrested subject had physically abused
her while she was at his residence in the 3000 block of Pauger
Street. The victim said he contacted the arrested subject via
telephone and questioned him about the abuse to his sister. At this
time an argument ensued between the victim and the arrested subject.
The victim then proceeded to the arrested subject residence. Upon
reaching the 3000 block of Pauger St., the victim observed the
arrested subject sitting on the steps of his residence. The arrested
subject stepped into the street toward the victim and pointed a chrome
hand gun at him. The arrested subject fired three shots into the air
and three in the direction of the victim. The subject was placed under
arrest and charged accordingly.

Aggravated Burglary

On Monday, June 7, 2010, at about 7:38am, while in the 2800 block of
Urquhart St., the victim was home asleep. At about this time the
wanted subject used bodily force to gain entry into the victim’s
residence. Once inside the residence the subject grabbed the victim by
his neck and began to choke him. The subject demanded the victim's
money. The victim broke free and ran outside his residence; however
the subject attacked him as he exited the door and another struggle
ensued. A citizen assisted the victim in breaking up the struggle.
The wanted subject then fled the scene.

Aggravated Battery

On Monday, June 07, 2010 at or about 3:00 am while on patrol Fifth
District Officers heard several gun shots in the area of the 18oo
block of N. Rocheblave St. Officers arrived at the location and
observed the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The Officers
requested E.M.S. The victim was transported to the hospital for
treatment. No further information at this time.

Aggravated Assault 6-3-10

On Thursday, June 3, 2010 at or about 7:51pm, the victim and the
arrested subject were in the 1600 block of Ports street. The victim
was involved in a verbal altercation with the arrested subject. The
arrested subject retrieved an assault rifle. The arrested subject
pointed the assault rifle at the victim and told the victim I’m going
to show you.

Aggravated Battery (Cutting) 6-2-10

On Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at about 10:10am while in the 5200 block of
St. Claude, the victim and the arrested subject were involved in an
argument. The argument escalated and the arrested subject hit the
victim with a baseball bat. The victim took the bat from the victim
and retreated into a business. At this time another female (wanted
subject) followed the victim into the business and cut him with a beer
bottle.

Aggravated Battery (Domestic) 5-29-10

On Saturday, May 29, 2010, at about 10:00pm the victim and the
arrested subject became engaged in a verbal argument at a residence in
the 1900 block of Desire St. The arrested subject pushed the victim to
the floor. The arrested subject placed a razor blade to the victim’s
throat and told her he would do great harm to her if she ended the
relationship. The victim was eventually able to escape to notify the
police.

Armed Robbery 5-29-10

On Saturday, May 29, 2010 at about 11:34pm, the victim was riding her
bicycle in the 1300 block of St. Roch St. She observed the wanted
subjects walking towards her. The #1 wanted subject stood in front of
the victim’s bicycle in an attempt to stop her. The victim attempted
to leave and at this time the wanted subjects demanded the victim’s
money. The victim gave the wanted subjects her belongings and at this
time the #1 wanted subject displayed a small chrome revolver. The
wanted subjects observed several subjects walking in their direction
and at this time they hid behind parked cars next to the sidewalk.
The victim then fled the scene and notified the police.

Wanted:

#1 Unknown b/m 5’7”, 130 lbs, dark complexion, thin build, 15 to 17
years of age, ear length dreadlocks, clean shaven, thin mustache, thin
oval shape face, wearing a red shirt and dark color jeans.

#2 Unknown b/m 5’7”, 150 lbs, 15 to 17 years of age, clean shaven,
round face, short haircut, white t-shirt, blue denim jeans

Homicide 5-27-10

On Thursday, May 27, 2010, at about 1:18pm, officers responded to
gunshots in the 3400 block of Piety St. Upon their arrival they
observed the victim unresponsive in a vehicle. The victim appeared to
have been shot. EMS was summoned to the scene. The victim was
pronounced dead on the scene.

Homicide 5-26-10

On Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at about 7:41pm, officers responded to a
man down in the 2400 block of Benton St. Upon arrival officers
observed the victim lying face down and unresponsive. Officers
summoned EMS to the scene. The victim was pronounced dead on the
scene.

Armed Robbery 5-25-10

On Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at about 10:45pm, the victims said they were
walking in the 1600 block of Clouet St. At about this time they
observed the wanted subject walking towards them. As the wanted
subject approached he produced a semi-automatic handgun and stated to
one victim, “Give it up.” The victim told the subject he had no
money; however, the wanted subject searched the victim’s pockets and
took his money. The wanted subject then fled westbound on N. Derbigny
St. The victims began to walk away, however the wanted subject
returned moments later and told the second victim, “I forgot to rob
you.” The wanted subject then searched the second victim’s pockets,
removed his money and fled the scene.

Wanted:

Unknown b/m 5’5”, 150 lbs, dark complexion, clean shaven, early 20’s,
medium length dreadlocks hairstyle, white t-shirt, cut off light denim
pants, black tennis, armed with a long dark colored semi-automatic
handgun.

Aggravated Battery (Cutting) 5-25-10

On Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at about 1:00am, the victim said he was
walking in the 1100 block of Music St. The victim said the wanted
subject approached him and they began to argue. The wanted subject
and the victim and the wanted subject were arguing about a woman. The
wanted subject ask the victim "where's your gun, where's your gun
at". The victim told the wanted subject he had no gun. The wanted
suspect then retrieved what the victim believes to be a pocket knife
from his right rear pocket and stabbed him. The wanted subject then
stated to the victim "I got you, I got you now".

Wanted:

Unknown b/m, 34 to 36 years of age, 5’8”, 200 lbs, dark complexion,
and low haircut, heavy build, blue pants, black t-shirt extra large.

2400 block of Wisteria St., repairing a truck. At about this time the
wanted subject armed with a large caliber semi-auto handgun,
approached and demanded their money. The victims stated they had no
money, however, the wanted subject ordered them to the rear of the
garage. One victim gave the wanted subject from his wallet. The
wanted subject then removed several containers with coins and fled the
scene.

Wanted:

Unknown b/m 5’ 10”, 25 to 30 years of age, tall, slender build, dark
complexion, black t-shirt, dark blue jeans, dark color canvass hat,
dark or blur bandanna, aviator sunglasses

Attempt Murder (Domestic) 5-19-10

On Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at about 11:30am the victim was riding her
bicycle on the sidewalk in the 2100 block of Piety St. The arrested
subject drove his truck onto the sidewalk and struck the victim. The
victim was dragged approximately 25 feet. The arrested subject then
fled the scene. Responding officers obtained the wanted subject’s
description and a description of the truck from eyewitnesses. The
officers canvassed area and were able to locate the wanted subject and
the truck. The subject was placed under arrest and charged
accordingly.

Aggravated Burglary 5-19-10

On Wednesday, May 19, 2010, while in the 2800 block of Dauphine St.,
the victim heard someone rattling the front door handle. The victim
attempted to open the door and at this time the wanted subject pushed
open the door. The wanted subject had his shirt pulled over his nose
and was waving a black handgun. The wanted subject demanded the
victims to give him their belongings. The victims gave the wanted
subject their belongings. The wanted subject ordered the victims to
lie on the floor. The wanted subject then fled the residence.

Unknown b/m 20 to 25 years of age, 5’7”, 170 lbs, medium complexion,
medium build, clean shaven, short afro hairstyle with a slight wave,
dark eyes, long eyelashes, soft spoken, large gray shirt, khaki pants
