On Friday, July 2, 2010, at 2:30am, the victim, 27 y/o W/M, was
walking in the 500 block of St Louis when he was approached by an
unknown black male. The suspect produced a pistol and demanded
money. The victim answered that he didn’t have any money and
attempted to flee. The suspect fired once, striking the victim. The
suspect fled in an unknown direction. The victim was treated at a
local hospital.

On Friday, July 2, 2010, at 5:50am, the victim, 23y/o W/F, was walking
near Burgundy and Conti when she was approached by an unknown black
male. The suspect implied that he had a weapon and demanded money.
The victim complied and the suspect then fled on foot.

On Friday, July 2, 2010, at 5:55am, the victim, 44 y/o W/F, was
walking in the 1000 block of Toulouse when she was approached by an
unknown black male. The suspect struck the victim and attempted to
pull the purse from her grasp. The victim resisted and the suspect
fled on foot.

Responding Officers apprehended the suspect, Darren Cole, B/M,
12-18-84. The suspect was positively identified in all three
incidents. Additional information on this arrest and/or any subsequent
