New Orleans - New Orleans Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating and identifying a suspect wanted in connection with the kidnapping and aggravated rape of a local teenager that occurred in the area of Downman Road and Pines Boulevard.
Yesterday, at approximately 5:30 P.M., a 16-year-old female victim was walking near the area of the I-10 Service Road and Bullard Avenue when an unknown African-American man driving a white Chevy Camaro approached the victim and began to flirt with her. When the victim refused the suspect’s advances, the suspect produced a black gun, pointed it at the victim and demanded for her to get into the car. The victim entered the vehicle and the suspect began to drive south on Bullard Avenue towards Lake Forest Boulevard and then to an abandoned house possibly in the area of Pines Street and Downman Road. The suspect forced the victim inside the abandoned house where he sexually assaulted her.
The suspect is described as having fair skin, 20-24 years of age, approximately 5’7” tall, approximately 190-200 pounds, muscular build and short black hair with hair under the chin. The suspect also has sleeve tattoos on both arms with a drawing of a skull on his right arm and a drawing of a lion on his left arm. The suspect was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans.
The suspect was driving a white 2010-2011 Chevy Camaro with tinted windows and black racing stripes over the top of the car from the hood to the rear of the car. The vehicle had black custom rims and possibly a gray interior.
