2012 Gun Buyback Program - Public Information Office

E-mail Print PDF

Hello everyone,

On Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 9:00 am, the New Orleans Police Department will team up with the Greater New Orleans / Jefferson Gun Buyback Committee to host the 2012 Gun Buyback Program at the Little Zion Baptist Church located at 4821 Earhart Blvd in New Orleans.  This is another great opportunity for the New Orleans Police Department to partnership with the community to ensure additional crime prevention and safety measures are taken by removing unnecessary guns from potentially dangerous situations.

This email is sent to citizens and friends of New Orleans to garner continued support.  I’m asking everyone to please promote the 2012 Gun Buyback Program to ensure the information is available to everyone.

Attached is the 2012 Gun Buyback Program promotional flyer with very important information about the program.

Thank you for your participation and support,

Sergeant L. J. Smith

New Orleans Police Department

Commander, Crime Prevention Unit
