NOPD Requesting Public’s Assistance in Locating
Missing Girl from New Orleans East
Members of the New Orleans Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 12-year-old Osvreana Mendoza, who was last seen by her step-mother on June 12, 2012, at about 11:00 P.M, in the 7600 block of Crestmont Road.
Police believe Mendoza was picked up at her residence by an unknown Hispanic male, approximately 22-23 years old. Mendoza has not been seen nor heard from since.
Mendoza and the unknown male may be traveling to Saint Louis, Michigan or North Carolina.
Mendoza is described as a Hispanic female, approximately 4’8” in height and approximately 125 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Mendoza has a piercing in her left eyebrow.

Juvenile Detective Peggy Brothers is in charge of this investigation and can be reached at 658-5265.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Osvreana Mendoza is asked to call the New Orleans Police Department’s non emergency line at 821-2222.
